Answers to your WHAT questions about Paws & Reflect
WHAT amenities does the cabin have?
Planned with dog guardians in mind (but dogs don't care)
(less to pack than for other getaways!)
- a pet gate to use as needed
- food & water bowls
- pet throws to protect the furniture
- a cage-style dog crate
- supplies such as poop bags, Nature’s Miracle
Planned with canine guests in mind (therefore we care)
- a different type of dog bed in each room (guest photos HERE)
- a ramp in lieu of steps outside, and pet steps & a ramp inside
- pet music CDs (to reduce separation anxiety)
- a dog door to a small contained area outside the cabin
- glass doors and/or windows on every side of the cabin
- screened porch with a hot tub (no, dogs won’t soak in the hot
tub, but they won’t have to be separated from you or otherwise
confined when you do!) . . . while you're in the hot tub, your pal
can do his own lounging on the doggie water bed there!
Other features and amenities
Completed in spring 2005, the cabin is like most other Blue Ridge
mountain getaway cabins, with such features and amenities as:
central heat & air conditioning; a kitchen fully equipped to include
microwave, coffee maker, cookware; washer & drier; TV/DVD/VCR with
cable service; CD player; a stone fireplace (with gas logs). Each room
has a ceiling fan, and the screened porch has a 4-person hot tub. Also
like many other area cabins, Paws & Reflect is smoke-free.
Are you and your canine companion due to take some time to pause and reflect?
